The team’s second meeting with the people of Paxos, at the Paxos School Centre in April 2026.
Three team members returned to Paxos for the “Olive Culture & Ecotourism” event. This time, growers, agronomists and local government representatives took part. We discussed how soil biology and gradual changes in farming practices can support the traditional olive groves.
The response encouraged the next step: organising pilot applications with local growers. The Ionian Environment Foundation (IEF) funded both events on Paxos: the first on 3 May 2025 in Gaios, and the second on 22 April 2026 at the Paxos School Centre.
